The Dangers of a One Night Stand

I watched the moon as it lit up the beautiful night, then a sound brought my eyes to the ground, there, I saw a marvelous site.
For an insect was harmonizing another insect with the most peculiar mating call.
Lost in the symphony, I forgot, I didn't understand not. One. Sound. At. All.
But I watched, as a male praying mantis furiously rubbed his arms, serenading his potential partner,
Undoubtedly, for a one night stand.
She listened as I did and got sucked in by his smooth, rhythmic vibe,
And with every sound he made with those hypnotic scratches, she inched closer and closer until eventually their faces were inches apart,
Unable to resist any longer,
She let him inside.
And as they commenced their graphic deed, I watched her bite off his head as he laid his seeds.
